Curriculum 7 - 10

 


During Years 7 - 10 students will be given the opportunity to study a broad range of subjects in order to discover their interests and strengths before choosing subjects in the senior school.


 

Year 7 & 8

Classes are multi-level and are taught by specialist teachers as opposed to the homeroom or one teacher primary school model.

Each year students study English, Mathematics, Humanities, Science, Health, and Physical Education

In addition to this they study the following subjects:

  • Agriculture
  • Digital Technology
  • Design Technology
  • Food Technology
  • Health
  • Maori
  • Performing Arts
  • Visual Arts

 

Year 9 & 10

Students study English, Mathematics, Humanities, Science, Health and Physical Education in their year levels. They then choose four option subjects which are delivered as multi-level classes:
